SoundPEATS Engine 4

The reviewer compares the SoundPEATS Engine 4 against numerous competitors in its price range and concludes it offers exceptional sound quality, particularly with its versatile 10-band EQ, making it the best-sounding option under $60 despite lacking ANC and transparency. He finds it outperforms or matches more expensive earbuds in sound, though he criticizes the companion app's interface and EQ adjustment lag.

The reviewer finds the SoundPEATS Engine 4 to be the best-sounding earbud from the brand, with a refined bass-boosted tuning, excellent mid-range, and wide soundstage. However, they note several drawbacks including a tricky fit that affects seal and sound, lack of noise canceling and IPX rating, mediocre call quality, and a slightly recessed treble. Overall, they recommend it for pure sound quality at the price, but caution about the fit and feature limitations.

The reviewer finds the SoundPEATS Engine 4 earbuds to be a solid budget option, offering good sound quality, a comfortable fit, and useful features like customizable EQ and multi-point connection for around $40. While not matching premium earbuds, the reviewer recommends them for the price, noting the sound is in line with expectations and the EQ settings actually make a difference.

The reviewer finds the SoundPEATS Engine 4 earbuds have a beautiful design and good sound quality, especially after adjusting the EQ, but they are let down by several missing features like ANC, wireless charging, and an in-ear sensor. At the discounted price of $41.99, the reviewer is hesitant to recommend them, and at the full $60 price, they find it difficult to recommend due to strong competition.
