REVIEW: A refreshed look at the Sony WF-C710N wireless earbuds in 2026. Test vs Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro, Redmi Buds 6 Pro, Samsung Galaxy Buds FE, more.

The HearWiki takeAI-condensed

The Sony WF-C710N are well-equipped true wireless earbuds that prioritize battery life and feature support over class-leading sound or noise cancellation. They offer hybrid ANC, transparency mode, and multipoint connectivity in a compact, sport-friendly design, making them a solid value for everyday use. However, their out-of-the-box tuning leans bass-heavy and smooth, and the controls can feel awkward to some users.

What works

  • Excellent battery life, including with ANC on
  • Hybrid ANC and transparency mode for flexible listening
  • Multipoint Bluetooth 5.3 with reliable connection
  • Compact, lightweight design with IPX4 sweat resistance
  • App support with custom EQ for sound adjustments

What doesn't

  • Sound is bass-heavy and smooth out of the box
  • ANC can produce a noticeable rumble in some conditions
  • Touch controls may feel awkward or unintuitive
  • Buds are slightly larger and slicker than some rivals

The Sony WF-C710N is a good earphone with a bit too many sidenotes. It has great battery life, but the Active Noise Cancelling comes with an annoying rumble, the controls are awkward, and the sound is a bit too bassy and smooth out of the box. GadgetsBoy32.4K viewsMay 2025

The reviewer finds the Sony WF-C710N earbuds offer excellent value at $99.99, with strong noise cancellation, good call quality, and a comfortable, lightweight design.
