Skullcandy Crusher® Evo

The reviewer is highly enthusiastic about the Skullcandy Crusher Evo, emphasizing its powerful sensory bass that physically vibrates the head, making it a fun and immersive experience for bass lovers. He notes that while the sound quality is not for audiophiles, the haptic bass effect is unique and enjoyable, and he considers the headphones worth their $200 price tag. He also compares them favorably to other Crusher models, though he suggests the ANC version might be a better value.

The reviewer found the Skullcandy Crusher Evo to be a fun and unique headphone, especially for bass lovers and gym use, thanks to the sensory bass slider that adds physical vibration. While the sound quality is decent with good imaging but limited soundstage, comfort is fine for short sessions but not for long wear, and the lack of features like ANC, transparency mode, and multi-point connectivity are notable drawbacks. Overall, the reviewer enjoyed them and recommends them for bass enthusiasts and gym-goers, though they wouldn't be their primary daily headphones.

The reviewer compares the Skullcandy Crusher Evo and Crusher ANC 2, noting both are solid bass-heavy headphones but the ANC 2 offers better overall sound quality, more features like ANC, transparency, multi-point connectivity, and longer battery life, making it worth the extra $20. The Evos are praised for their simpler bass slider and slightly deeper bass, but the reviewer would choose the ANC 2 if forced to pick one.

The reviewer is highly impressed with the Skullcandy Crusher Evo, praising its powerful, body-rattling bass that can be adjusted via a slider, and noting that when the bass is turned down, the headphones offer a balanced and enjoyable sound for all-around listening. They consider it the best bass experience among the Crusher line they've tried, though they mention the included cable lacks an inline mic for gaming chat.

The reviewer is highly impressed with the Skullcandy Crusher Evo, praising its powerful bass and improved mid/treble detail. They recommend it for those seeking a fun, immersive listening experience, though they note minor drawbacks like the lack of a hard case and the bass slider's all-or-nothing behavior.
