REVIEW: The $60 Realme Buds Air 6 tested against the $90 Realme Buds Air 6 Pro, the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro, OnePlus Buds 3 and more. Which is best?

The HearWiki takeAI-condensed

The Realme Buds Air 6 deliver an entertaining sound profile and clear call quality for around $58, making them a solid budget pick. While they feature adaptive noise cancellation and support for high-quality LHDC codecs, their ANC isn't the strongest in the class, and battery life with ANC is modest at 7 hours. They lack multipoint connectivity, which may be a dealbreaker for some, but they remain a fun-sounding option for casual listeners.

What works

  • Entertaining, lively sound signature
  • Clear call quality with 6 microphones
  • Support for LHDC high-resolution audio codec
  • Lightweight and comfortable at 4.5g per bud
  • IP55 water and dust resistance for workouts

What doesn't

  • Battery life with ANC drops to 7 hours
  • No wireless charging support

The Realme Buds Air 6 and Air 6 Pro are both competing with the best earbuds in the price class. They convince with entertaining sound and clear calls, although the Active Noise Cancelling could have been stronger. Even though the Realme Buds Air 6 can save you some money from the Pro, the added 2,5 hours of battery life and the multipoint connection don’t just give the Air 6 Pro an advantage - they prevent the Realme Buds Air 6 from having a great appeal - as many more competitors offer more battery life and multipoint.
