Technics EAH-AZ100

The reviewer finds the Technics EAH-AZ100 to offer the best true wireless sound quality under €400, surpassing the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4, Bowers & Wilkins PI8, and AirPods Pro 3 in dynamics, transparency, and soundstage. However, comfort is a significant drawback, becoming uncomfortable after about three hours, and noise cancellation trails Apple's AirPods Pro 3. Despite these compromises, the reviewer recommends them for sound quality prioritizers, especially Android users with LDAC.

The reviewer is highly impressed with the Technics EAH-AZ100 earbuds, praising their exceptional clarity, strong bass, and comfortable fit. He considers them a significant step up from previous Technics models and anticipates a competitive comparison with the Sony XM5s. Despite minor drawbacks like a plastic case and average ambient sound mode, he strongly recommends them for their sound quality and features.

The reviewer found the Technics EAH-AZ100 earbuds to be exceptionally comfortable, with a lightweight and ergonomic fit that disappears during wear. They praised the clean, detailed sound quality, which they found superior to the Sony WF-1000XM5, along with impressive battery life and stable multi-point connectivity. However, they noted minor flaws like overly sensitive touch controls, a weak case lid magnet, and a robotic-sounding call feature, concluding that the earbuds are a great choice for those prioritizing clarity and practicality over bass-heavy sound or absolute noise cancellation.

The reviewer highly recommends the Technics EAH-AZ100 earbuds, praising their exceptional fit, impressive sound quality, and outstanding ANC and transparency modes. They note the bass-heavy default tuning and high price as minor drawbacks, but overall consider them among the best wireless ANC earbuds they've tested.
