The Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro scores 6.0 points above the Xiaomi Redmi Buds 6 Pro. That's a real improvement, though not the kind you'd notice on every track. The gains are concentrated in calls (6.0 to 8.0), sound (8.0 to 8.5) and noise cancelling (7.5 to 8.0). You do give up ground on battery (8.0 to 7.5) and value (9.0 to 8.5). On paper: battery life (anc on) 6.5 h to 7.5 h, battery incl. case 36 h to 40 h and microphones 3 to 6. Worth checking: drivers per side goes 3 to 2 and case weight goes 36.1 g to 51 g. That costs $67 more, or about $11 per point of score - reasonable value for the jump. Worth doing if you're replacing anyway; harder to justify as a pure upgrade if what you have still works.
