6:14The reviewer sold the Sony MDR-Z1R because, after comparing them to the Hifiman Arya, he found the Z1R's highs slightly harsh and its bass overly boosted, making it less accurate. He still considers them excellent closed-back headphones with great comfort and build, but they were no longer his preferred choice.

11:29The reviewer finds the Beats Executive headphones to be stylish and well-built, with effective noise cancellation that is useful for travel, but criticizes them for being overpriced, having a constant hiss from the noise cancellation that cannot be turned off, and lacking in mid-range audio quality. They recommend them only for frequent travelers who need noise cancellation, not for audiophiles.
