Nothing Ear (3) Reviewed by an AUDIO ENGINEER: What Did Nothing Do?!

  83,1 tys. wyświetleńwrz 2025

The reviewer, an audio engineer, finds the Nothing Ear 3 a mixed upgrade over the previous generation. While the build quality, design, and advanced EQ are praised, the battery life is disappointing, connectivity is buggy, and the new Super Mic feature has significant compatibility and latency issues. The fit may also be less secure for some ears, and the price increase to $180 is not fully justified.

Sony WH-1000XM6 and WH-1000XM5 Reviewed & Compared by an AUDIO ENGINEER

  352,9 tys. wyświetleńmaj 2025

The reviewer, an audio engineer, finds the Sony WH-1000XM6 a solid refinement over the XM5, with notable improvements in comfort, build quality, transparency mode naturalness, and noise cancellation, especially in the mid-range. While the sound quality and microphone performance are similar between the two, the XM6's added features like a 10-band EQ, Bluetooth 5.3, and foldable design make it a worthwhile upgrade for those seeking the latest, though not a dramatic leap for existing XM5 owners.

The reviewer finds the Beats Solo 4 to be a compact, lightweight, and travel-friendly on-ear headphone with excellent battery life and improved microphones, but notes significant trade-offs: no ANC or transparency mode, an on-ear design that can cause ear discomfort after extended wear, and a bright, treble-heavy sound signature that may not suit everyone.
