The STAX SR-X9000 is a new flagship electrostatic earspeaker featuring MLER-3 multi-layer fixed electrode technology and a 20% larger diaphragm than the SR-009S for improved transient response and sound field. It uses a push-pull electrostatic sound element with an open-air enclosure, genuine leather ear pads, and a detachable cable.
STAX SR-X9000 to flagowe słuchawki elektrostatyczne stworzone dla audiofilów poszukujących najwyższej przejrzystości i szczegółowości dźwięku. Oferują niezwykle otwartą, przestrzenną scenę dźwiękową z wyjątkową szybkością i precyzją, choć wymagają dedykowanego wzmacniacza i stanowią znaczną inwestycję. Ich wydajność jest szczególnie imponująca przy złożonej muzyce, gdzie klarowność i realizm w pełni się ujawniają.

16:49The reviewer finds the STAX SR-X9000 to be a refined, comfortable, and technically superior electrostatic headphone that offers a warmer, more relaxed tuning compared to the brighter SR-009S, with improved bass impact and excellent soundstage depth. However, it lacks the treble energy and forward midrange of its predecessor, making it a more laid-back listen that may not appeal to everyone.
25:03The reviewer finds the STAX SR-X9000 to be an exceptionally resolving electrostatic headphone, possibly the second most detailed he has heard, though its intense detail can become fatiguing over long sessions. He notes the build is light and comfortable but has minor issues with headband adjustment and clamping force, and he emphasizes that his sound impressions are limited by the available amplifier.
11:30The reviewer finds the STAX SR-X9000 to be a superb electrostatic headphone with exceptionally low distortion and outstanding detail retrieval, making it ideal for listeners who want to hear everything on a recording. However, its flat frequency response and slight lower-midrange recession may not appeal to everyone, and it requires a high-quality electrostatic amplifier to fully shine.
