The HearWiki takeAI-condensed
The Whizzer Kylin HE03AL is a wired hybrid IEM that pairs a 10.2mm dynamic driver with dual balanced armatures for a detailed, three-way sound. Its closed-back design and 30-ohm impedance make it easy to drive from most sources, while the detachable 0.78mm 2-pin cable adds versatility. With a wide frequency range up to 40 kHz, it aims to deliver crisp highs and rich lows without relying on active noise cancellation.
What works
- Detailed hybrid driver setup with dynamic and dual armatures
- Detachable 0.78mm 2-pin cable for easy replacement or upgrade
- Wide frequency response from 20 Hz to 40 kHz
- Low 30-ohm impedance works well with portable devices
- Closed-back design helps isolate sound passively
What doesn't
- No active noise cancellation, so ambient noise may bleed in
- Wired-only connection limits wireless use
- May require a good seal to get optimal bass response
