Review: The Umidigi Upods look like the Xiaomi Redmi Airdots, but they aren't nearly as good. The sound quality is horrible.

The HearWiki takeAI-condensed

The Umidigi Upods are budget-friendly true wireless earbuds with a compact, comfortable fit and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. While they offer basic features like voice assistant support and a total battery life of 24 hours with the case, their sound quality is disappointingly poor, making them hard to recommend even at a very low price.

What works

  • Very affordable price point
  • Comfortable fit for extended wear
  • Long total battery life with charging case
  • Lightweight design at just 4 grams per earbud
  • Bluetooth 5.0 for stable wireless connection

What doesn't

  • Poor sound quality overall
  • No USB-C charging port
  • Limited to 4 hours on a single charge
  • Physical buttons may be less convenient than touch controls
