A review of the Tronsmart Encore Spunky Buds - how do these true wireless earphones for sports, fitness and biking hold up in sound quality and daily use?

The HearWiki takeAI-condensed

The Tronsmart Encore Spunky Buds are budget-friendly true wireless earbuds aimed at active users, offering a secure fit and IPX5 sweat resistance for workouts. They deliver an energetic sound profile but compromise on battery life and older Bluetooth technology. While their design may not appeal to everyone, they provide a functional option for sports-focused listening on a tight budget.

What works

  • Secure, sweat-resistant fit ideal for exercise
  • Energetic and lively sound signature
  • Very affordable price point
  • Lightweight at just 12 grams per earbud

What doesn't

  • Short battery life of only 3.5 hours per charge
  • Outdated Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity
  • Bulkier design that may not suit all tastes
  • Limited codec support with no USB-C charging

The Tronsmart Encore Spunky Buds are one of the biggest, maybe even most hideous looking true wireless earphones under 50 dollar. At the same, they're well suited for sporting - with a tight fit even when sweating, a solid waterproof level and energising sound. Just recharge them often.
