Reviewers agree that the KZ EDA offers a unique and valuable concept by bundling three differently tuned IEMs in one box, with the balanced and high-res versions generally praised for their detail and balance, while the bass version is often criticized as too aggressive and fatiguing.
7:58The reviewer finds the KZ EDA's concept of offering three IEMs in one box interesting but ultimately underwhelming. While the build quality is decent and the balanced version shows good detail retrieval, all three variants suffer from bass bleed, recessed mids, and sharp treble. The reviewer concludes that for the price, a single better IEM would offer superior audio quality and recommends against purchasing this product.
18:42The reviewer finds the KZ EDA to be a great starter package, offering three differently tuned IEMs in one box for $40, which is a unique value. The heavy bass version is lively and fun, the high-res version is brighter and cleaner, and the balanced version is similar to the high-res. The main drawbacks are the cheap build quality and the deep insertion fit, which may not suit everyone.
18:07The reviewer examines the KZ EDA trio, which includes three differently tuned earphones in one package. He finds the concept interesting for hobbyists but notes the sets are too similar for beginners. Among the three, the high-res (green) version is his favorite for its better balance and resolution, while the bass version is his least favorite due to fatigue and poor tuning. The balanced version offers a good soundstage but still leans bright.
12:29The reviewer finds the KZ EDA to be an ambitious and unique product, offering three differently tuned earphones in one box for about $30. They praise the value and technical performance, with the balanced version being their personal favorite, while noting the bass version is too aggressive and the treble can be spicy on all models. Overall, they consider it a great set for the price, despite some minor flaws.
