REVIEW: A test and comparison of the Honor Choice Earbuds S7 vs the Oppo Enco Air3, Huawei Freebuds SE 2 and SoundPEATS Air5.
The HearWiki takeAI-condensed
The Honor Choice Earbuds S7 pack a feature-rich spec sheet with adaptive ANC, LDAC support, and multipoint connectivity at a budget price. However, real-world performance falls short: the noise cancellation is underwhelming and the audio signature can vary between listening sessions, making them feel less reliable than their specs suggest. They do offer comfortable fit, clear sound, and solid battery life, but the inconsistent tuning and weak ANC temper overall value.
What works
- Comfortable fit with clear sound and balanced bass
- Stable Bluetooth connection and long battery life
- Includes LDAC, adaptive ANC, and multipoint for the price
- Touch controls and app support add convenience
What doesn't
- ANC is noticeably weaker than expected
- Sound quality varies between listening sessions
- Touch controls can respond with noticeable delay
- Charging case is somewhat bulky
