Review: The Bluedio Hi Hurricane TWS are Bluedio's take at Apple AirPods, at just one tenth of the price. Unfortunately, they leave a lot to be desired.

The HearWiki takeAI-condensed

The Bluedio Hi Hurricane TWS are budget true wireless earbuds that mimic the look of popular earbuds at a very low price. They offer a simple feature set with basic Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and a compact charging case, but their performance is hampered by reliability issues and subpar call quality. While they are cheap and comfortable, they are best suited for listeners with minimal expectations for audio fidelity and stability.

What works

  • Very affordable price point
  • Comfortable fit for basic use
  • Convenient play/pause by removing right earbud
  • USB-C charging for the case
  • Decent battery life with charging case

What doesn't

  • Unreliable auto power on/off and pairing
  • Poor microphone quality for calls
  • Bulky design that may not appeal to all
  • Average sound with limited codec support (SBC only)

The Bluedio Hi Hurricane TWS has a nice play-pause function by removing the right earpiece from your ear temporarily, however fails at absolute basics like auto switching-on and off, pairing stability, microphone quality or… decent looks. Bluedio's take at the AirPods are a letdown. Buy Bluedio Hi on AliExpress Buy Bluedio Hi on Amazon US I bought the Bluedio Hi Hurricane TWS for my own listening and review purposes. The reviewer says the Bluedio Hi Hurricane TWS are let down by basic reliability issues, including awkward auto on/off behavior, unstable pairing, and poor microphone performance. The positives are limited to a useful pause/play gesture from removing the right earbud, but overall the earbuds are presented as a poor imitation of AirPods.
