A review and comparison of the Blitzwolf BW-FYE8 or Syllable S119 TWS wireless earbuds. Compared vs SoundPEATS Truebuds, Whizzer C3 and Bomaker Sifi.

The HearWiki takeAI-condensed

The Blitzwolf BW-FYE8, also known as the Syllable S119, is an affordable true wireless earbud pair that prioritizes call quality and a robust design over audio performance. It features a distinctive, durable charging case and offers solid battery life for its price, but its sound signature may not satisfy audiophiles. If you value clear conversations and a reliable build over musical fidelity, these earbuds are a practical choice.

What works

  • Good call quality with clear voice transmission
  • Unique and sturdy charging case design
  • Compact and lightweight earbuds at 4g each
  • Supports aptX and AAC codecs for better wireless audio
  • IPX5 water resistance for workouts and light rain

What doesn't

  • Sound quality is underwhelming and lacks detail
  • No active noise cancellation or transparency mode
  • Battery life is modest at 5 hours per charge
  • Limited range of 10 meters may cause dropouts
