Review: Are the Baseus W12 wireless earphones really as good as the AliExpress user reviews suggest? Test vs Koss KSC75, Sony WF-1000XM3, more.

The HearWiki takeAI-condensed

The Baseus W12 offers a very pleasant, music-focused sound signature that makes it an excellent budget pick for casual listening, but its appeal is tempered by extremely limited on-ear controls and subpar call quality. With a compact, lightweight build and IPX5 resistance, it's a straightforward, comfortable option for those who prioritize pure audio enjoyment over features.

What works

  • Very pleasant, musical sound for the price
  • Lightweight and comfortable fit (4g per bud)
  • IPX5 water resistance for workouts
  • Compact case with 24 hours total battery
  • Supports AAC for iPhone users

What doesn't

  • Limited physical button controls
  • Poor microphone quality for calls
  • No ANC or transparency mode
  • No multipoint or wireless charging
