Video reviews we found, each condensed to its verdict. They do feed the HearWiki score, at a measured weight below what a published written review carries.
Reviewers agree the Anker Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max offers standout features like a unique AMOLED case screen, strong call quality, and effective noise cancellation, but they diverge on its practicality: most praised the innovative case and AI note-taker for in-person use, though one found the AI feature misleading due to its in-person-only limitation and subscription cost, while another criticized the large case and fiddly earbud removal.
26:25The reviewer, an audio engineer, compares the Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max against four other premium earbuds in a sponsored but independent test. They highlight the Soundcore's unique features like the AMOLED case screen, AI note-taker, and strong call quality, but note its larger case and fiddly earbud removal. The overall verdict is mixed, as the Soundcore excels in some areas but falls short in battery life and size compared to competitors.
5:02The reviewer bought the Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max and found the advertised AI note-taking feature misleading: it only works for in-person meetings via the charging case, not online calls, and requires a paid subscription after a limited free trial. While the earbuds themselves perform well, especially in noise cancellation, the hidden limitations and subscription cost make the Pro Max a poor value compared to the standard Pro.
