In this extensive Aipower Wearbuds review it becomes clear the Indiegogo project isn't there yet. The sound quality is great, the smart band is lackluster.
The Aipower Wearbuds combine true wireless earbuds with a wristband-style charging case, offering solid audio quality and comfortable fit. While the sound performance and aptX support are highlights, the hybrid design feels clunky and underdeveloped, making it more of a novelty than a polished everyday product.

6 source(s) feeding this product's score.
Video reviews we found, each condensed to its verdict. They do feed the HearWiki score, at a measured weight below what a published written review carries.
Reviewers agree that the Aipower Wearbuds offer surprisingly good sound quality for their size, with clear audio and punchy bass, and the convenience of having earbuds stored in a smartwatch is widely praised.
11:35The reviewer gives a first-impressions look at the Aipower Wearbuds, a fitness band with built-in Bluetooth earbuds. They find the sound quality surprisingly good for the size, but note issues with Bluetooth range, call quality, and notification functionality. Overall, they are impressed with the concept and audio, but the smart band features need refinement.
12:38The reviewer finds the third-generation Aipower Wearbuds Watch to be a significant design improvement over previous versions, looking and feeling more like a standard smartwatch. While the sound quality and microphone performance are praised, the limited ear tip options and short earbud battery life are noted as drawbacks. The reviewer concludes that at the early bird price of $131, the combined watch and earbuds offer good value, but would not recommend it at the higher retail price of $250-$260.
8:46The reviewer found the Aipower Wearbuds to be a surprisingly convenient and comfortable device, combining a smart band with truly wireless earbuds. While the sound quality is detailed and clear, especially in mids and highs, the bass is lacking and the ear tip options are limited. The reviewer concludes that while there are better standalone earbuds or smartwatches at this price, the combination of both makes it an intriguing option.
6:11The reviewer finds the Aipower Wearbuds to be a novel and promising product, with the earbuds themselves being comfortable, minimal, and offering good sound quality for the price. However, the fitness tracking and touch navigation are currently finicky, and the device is bulky, though the software issues are expected to be fixed before the final release.
