The AceZone A-Spire is a wireless gaming headset with active noise cancellation, a 35-hour battery, and Bluetooth 5.4, featuring a 40mm driver and 3-microphone setup. It ranks #28 among PC and gaming headsets, with a detachable cable and 3m cable length.

The HearWiki takeAI-condensed

The AceZone A-Spire is a premium wireless gaming headset built for competitive play, combining hybrid active noise cancellation with a clear, gaming-tuned soundstage that excels at positional audio in FPS titles. It offers a long 35-hour battery, a comfortable foldable design, and a solid mic, though its specialized tuning makes it less versatile for music and everyday use, and its price point is steep for casual buyers. The headset also features transparency mode, customizable EQ, and support for aptX HD codecs for high-quality wireless audio.

What works

  • Excellent hybrid ANC for immersive gaming
  • Great soundstage for pinpointing footsteps and cues
  • Comfortable build with foldable design for portability
  • Long 35-hour battery life on a single charge
  • Crystal-clear microphone for team communication

What doesn't

  • High price tag compared to similar gaming headsets
  • Flat sound profile is mediocre for music listening
  • No multipoint connection for seamless device switching
  • PC use may rely heavily on wired connection despite wireless support

Acezone A-spire Counter-Strike 2 Review

d4nny3.5K viewsFeb 2024

The reviewer, an experienced Counter-Strike player, tested the AceZone A-Spire headphones over several months and found them to be very good, particularly for competitive play. They highlight a slight but tangible advantage in hearing footsteps and directional audio, along with excellent noise cancellation and comfort. However, they note the high price, the need for a phone app for controls, and the requirement to use them wired to access all features, concluding they are only worth it for highly serious or professional players.

$370. AceZone A-Spire

Stream Tech Reviews3K viewsOct 2024

The reviewer finds the AceZone A-Spire excellent for competitive FPS gaming due to its treble-heavy, detailed sound and effective mic, but considers the $370 price far too high. They note weak ANC, a buggy app, and limited Xbox compatibility as drawbacks, predicting the price will drop significantly.

FPS PC Gaming Focused

Bought it primarily for the ANC tech and FPS Gaming tuning. The build does feel cheap in comparison but I already knew that going in. Primarily wanted something lightweight like HyperX Cloud 3Read more

Solid headset, good ANC, but overpriced

The ANC is really good, but I don t have much other ANC to compare it too. The mic is alright, average headset mic quality. They are fairly light and comfortable, not too much head pressure but enoughRead more

Detailed review, disappointed in ACEZONE.

TL;DR: Microphone isolation very disappointing. Updating by phone is broken (iPhone and Android). Headphones frequently drop connection for no reason. Emailed ACEZONE with details and received noRead more

Bad sound quality

Absolutely terrible audio quality that is in NO WAY worth the price. You can only use these in Mono while using the mic, and it s borderline unusable.
