TRUTHEAR PURPLE

The reviewer gives the Pure a perfect pragmatic rating and calls it one of the most impressive-sounding IEMs they have heard. The conclusion is strongly positive, emphasizing its musical and highly enjoyable presentation.

The reviewer finds the Pure to have a warm-neutral tuning with a modest bass boost, strong midrange presence, and non-sibilant treble. They are more mixed overall, praising the tuning and cable but criticizing bass performance, vocal balance, treble extension, and technical ability.

This review presents the Pure as a hybrid 1DD+3BA successor to the Hexa with a 10 mm dynamic driver and three balanced armatures. Its conclusion is favorable on tuning and value, while noting that some measurements are estimated rather than laboratory-verified.

The reviewer describes the Truthear Pure as warm, coherent, and smooth through the mids, with tightly controlled treble and an easygoing overall tuning. They also note that its soundstage is somewhat narrow and imaging can be blurred, but still conclude it is an excellent IEM and comparable to the Hexa.
