Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 2

The reviewer finds the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds have strong potential with good sound quality, comfortable ANC, and useful features like water resistance and an Android app, but they are held back by a frustrating EQ interface, a bulky case, and unreliable touch controls. The reviewer concludes that while the earbuds could outperform the AirPods Pro with better software, in their current state they are only a solid recommendation if the user can dial in the sound.

The reviewer finds the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds are still worth considering in 2021, primarily due to their outstanding sound quality, especially after enabling the high-end sound tuning feature. However, they note the earbuds lack many modern features like wireless charging, multi-point connection, and strong noise cancelling, which makes them less competitive at their original price. The overall verdict is mixed, as the audio performance is excellent but other aspects fall short.

The reviewer finds the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 to be a strong contender for the best-sounding true wireless earbuds, with excellent audio quality, good active noise cancellation, and long battery life. They note improvements in comfort and features over the original, but point out a few drawbacks like the lack of wireless charging and a master-slave connection setup. Overall, they recommend them for those prioritizing sound quality.

The reviewer finds the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 to be an excellent choice for audiophiles, praising their outstanding sound quality, improved battery life, and effective noise cancellation, despite a higher price and a subpar microphone. They conclude that while cheaper alternatives exist, none match the Momentum 2's audio performance, making them the top pick for sound-focused buyers.

The reviewer finds the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 to be a solid improvement over the first generation, with better battery life, a more stable Bluetooth connection, and a much-improved app. However, they note that the sound quality, while good, doesn't quite match the original's wow factor, and the active noise cancelling and transparency mode are not class-leading. The lack of wireless charging and individual earbud use are also seen as drawbacks at this price point.
