Sennheiser CX True Wireless

The reviewer is highly impressed with the Sennheiser CX True Wireless earbuds, praising their exceptional sound quality, comfortable fit, and robust feature set at a budget-friendly price of $130. He considers them a potential deal of the year, noting they outperform more expensive competitors like the Klipsch T5s. The main drawbacks are the plastic build of the case and the earbuds popping out during maximum shakeage, though the latter was resolved after readjustment.

The reviewer tested the Sennheiser CX True Wireless earbuds over several days and found them to be solid performers, praising their strong audio quality, excellent battery life, and reliable touch controls. The main drawback is the lack of active noise cancellation, which is common at this price point, but the comfortable fit and good passive isolation help compensate. Overall, the reviewer recommends them for those prioritizing sound and battery over ANC.

The reviewer finds the Sennheiser CX True Wireless to be a solid upgrade over the CX 400 BT, with improved battery life, Bluetooth 5.2, and a lower price, but notes some compromises like a basic EQ, non-customizable touch controls, and occasional call quality issues. Overall, they consider it a good value for the price, though not without flaws.

The reviewer finds the Sennheiser CX True Wireless earbuds offer excellent mid-range sound quality that rivals higher-end models, but they are let down by subdued bass, a narrow soundstage, and a mediocre microphone. The build and battery life are decent, though the firmware update process is slow and the bass boost feature is ineffective.
