The Philips Fidelio L4 is an over-ear wireless headphone with active noise cancellation, offering a 50-hour battery life and a 40mm driver size. It supports LDAC and AAC codecs, with a frequency response of 7 Hz to 40,000 Hz.

Reviewers consistently praised the Philips Fidelio L4 for its comfortable fit, premium build, and balanced, detailed sound quality, with particular highlights on bass response and vocal clarity.
46:05The reviewer unboxes and tests the Philips Fidelio L4 headphones, praising their comfortable design, solid build, and useful features like LDAC support and multipoint connectivity. However, he notes the lack of water resistance and non-folding ear cups as drawbacks, and his overall impression is cautiously positive, though he hasn't fully tested sound quality yet.
4:49The reviewer reports that a new firmware update for the Philips Fidelio L4 headphones appears to have fixed the persistent Bluetooth dropouts that previously made them unusable. After hours of testing, the connection remained stable, and the reviewer is cautiously optimistic that the issue is resolved, making the headphones competitive with other top models.
19:43The reviewer compares the Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 and Philips Fidelio L4 headphones in a sound-only test with EQ zeroed out. They find both perform well, but the L4s win overall due to slightly better bass response, more detail in vocal nuances, and a clearer transition between high and low frequencies in the instrumental track, despite the P100s having a wider soundstage.
3:12The reviewer finds the Philips Fidelio L4 headphones deliver excellent sound quality with vibrant mids, crisp highs, and good bass, along with strong battery life and comfortable fit. However, they note occasional disconnection issues that could be a concern for reliability-focused users, making it a strong but not flawless choice.
3:42The reviewer highly praises the Philips Fidelio L4 for its luxurious design, exceptional comfort, and balanced sound quality. They highlight the effective hybrid ANC, clear call quality, and versatile connectivity options, concluding it is a strong contender in the premium over-ear market, though noting the high price and occasionally sensitive touch controls.
