Reviewers agree the CMF Buds 2a offer strong value for the price, with a feature-rich app, customizable EQ, and punchy, bass-forward sound that many found fun.
8:33The reviewer finds the CMF Buds 2a to be a solid budget option with excellent battery life and decent noise cancelling for the price, but criticizes the bass-heavy, unclear sound and cheap-feeling build. They recommend them for most people, especially those who enjoy bass, but not for audiophiles.
6:52The reviewer finds the CMF Buds 2a to be feature-packed and fun-sounding for the price, but ultimately does not recommend them due to numerous usability issues, including poor active noise cancellation, unusable transparency mode, volume control lag, difficult ear tip installation, and a noticeable audio delay during video editing. Despite the sound being a highlight, the accumulated problems lead to a negative verdict.
22:56The reviewer finds the CMF Buds 2a to be a decent budget option with good customization and connectivity, but notes several shortcomings like the lack of a charger, mediocre sound performance, and a weak find-my-earbuds feature. Overall, they see it as a mixed bag that is acceptable for the price but not outstanding.
21:17The reviewer finds the CMF Buds 2a to be an exceptional value, especially at the discounted price of $19, offering features and sound quality that far exceed typical budget earbuds. They highlight the effective ANC, customizable EQ in the Nothing X app, and overall balanced audio as standout qualities, concluding that these earbuds redefine what budget audio can deliver.
