JLab Epic Lab Edition

The reviewer was surprised by the JLab Epic Lab Edition's $199 price, given JLab's budget reputation, but found the earbuds to be exceptional in sound quality, especially with the Knowles preferred sound curve EQ, offering detail that rivals or exceeds pricier competitors like Sony, Bose, and Sennheiser. The main weakness is the noise cancelling, which struggles with higher-pitched sounds, but the overall package—including build, battery life, and features—makes it a strong contender if you can look past the brand.

The reviewer finds the JLab Epic Lab Edition to be a surprisingly strong flagship effort from JLab, offering solid build quality, good sound with a dual-driver setup, effective noise cancellation, and useful features like the LC3 dongle, though it has some minor drawbacks like a wobbly case lid and occasionally difficult earbud removal. Overall, it's a positive review with a few caveats.
