Reviewers agree the ASTRO A50X delivers excellent sound quality with graphene drivers, a strong microphone, and versatile cross-platform connectivity via its HDMI-based base station, making it a top-tier option for multi-device setups.
15:06The reviewer praises the Astro A50X as a premium wireless gaming headset that works seamlessly across PS5, Xbox, and PC via its base station with HDMI 2.1 passthrough. They highlight its excellent sound quality with graphene drivers, comfortable design, and versatile connectivity, calling it their new favorite and a worthy replacement for their previous headset. The main caveat is that the bass is too strong out of the box, but it can be adjusted via software.
16:29The reviewer finds the ASTRO A50X to be a feature-packed gaming headset with excellent microphone quality and strong audio performance, but notes that its high price and multi-platform focus may not appeal to everyone. They highlight several build quality concerns and usability quirks, ultimately suggesting it's a niche product for those who need its specific multi-device capabilities.
55:21The reviewer purchased the Astro A50 X with his own money and provides an in-depth, long-term assessment. He finds it to be a top-tier gaming headset with excellent sound, a great microphone, and unique HDMI-based features that enable game/chat mix on PlayStation 5, but he criticizes the high price, missing cables, and some design compromises like smaller ear pads. Overall, he considers it a strong contender for the best gaming headset, though not without flaws.
20:17The reviewer finds the new Astro A50X to be a solid, comfortable, and versatile headset with excellent cross-platform support, though the setup can be complex and the lack of an included HDMI cable and optical port is a drawback. The simultaneous Bluetooth and app integration are highlights, but the requirement for all devices to be on one desk limits its practical use for many users.
