What reviewers said
Mpow Swift
The Mpow Swift is a lightweight, sweat-resistant neckband-style earphone aimed at athletes and gym-goers, with a secure fit thanks to ear stabilizers. It delivers a bass-forward sound signature and uses aptX for better wireless audio over Bluetooth 4.0, though its 5-hour battery is modest by today's standards. A simple button control scheme and a basic EQ option round out the package, while the lack of app support or noise cancellation keeps it firmly budget-focused.
- Pro:Lightweight 22g design with ear stabilizers for a secure fit
- Pro:Sweatproof build suited for workouts
- Pro:aptX support for improved audio quality over Bluetooth
- Con:Only 5 hours of battery life
- Con:Bluetooth 4.0 may be less stable than newer versions
- Con:No noise cancellation or transparency mode
Soundcore Life U2
The Soundcore Life U2 is a budget-friendly neckband headphone that prioritizes long-lasting battery life and workout-ready durability over premium sound. Its lightweight, water-resistant build and multipoint Bluetooth connection make it a practical everyday companion, though audio performance is serviceable rather than impressive, with bass response being a notable weakness.
- Pro:Excellent 24-hour battery life with quick charge support
- Pro:IPX7 water resistance ideal for workouts and outdoor use
- Pro:Lightweight 32g neckband design for comfortable extended wear
- Con:Sound quality is only average, lacking bass depth
- Con:Limited to SBC codec, no high-resolution audio support
- Con:No active noise cancellation, relies on passive fit
