TRUTHEAR PURE

The reviewer compares the Truthear Pure to its predecessor, the Hexa, and finds it a worthy successor with a more relaxed, less analytical tuning. They note the Pure has a fuller low-mid and upper-bass presence, which adds richness and impact but slightly reduces clarity compared to the Hexa. The reviewer personally prefers the Pure for its smoother treble and more comfortable sound, though they mention some trade-offs depending on ear canal shape and tip choice.

The reviewer finds the Truthear Pure to be a competent but risky follow-up to the Hexa, with a warmer and thicker tuning that may appeal to some but loses some of the Hexa's neutrality. He notes improvements in the nozzle size for fit, but criticizes the design and logo aesthetics. Overall, he seems mixed, appreciating the build and comfort while questioning the tuning direction.

The reviewer finds the Truthear Pure to be a well-executed warm-neutral IEM that successfully follows up on the Hexa, offering a richer, more relaxing sound with improved accessories and build. It's positioned as a versatile, non-fatiguing option for those who prefer a warmer signature over the Hexa's cleaner, brighter tuning, though it may not satisfy those seeking more treble detail or a purely neutral sound.

The reviewer finds the Truthear Pure to be a well-built IEM with a comfortable fit and excellent cable, but its overly warm and bass-heavy tuning overwhelms the mids and reduces vocal clarity, making it a niche product for those who love very warm, laid-back sound signatures. He prefers the more neutral and clearer Truthear Hexa, and rates the Pure three out of five stars.

The reviewer finds the Truthear Pure to be a strong successor to the Hexa, offering a more engaging and natural sound with improved midrange body and warmth while maintaining smooth treble and good technicalities. They consider it one of the best sub-$100 IEMs, preferring it over both the Hexa and the Simgot EA500 LM.

The reviewer finds the Truthear Pure to be a solid budget hybrid IEM that outperforms the Hexa and is particularly strong for Valorant, earning a B+ there. However, it struggles in Apex Legends and Call of Duty due to shouty gunfire and weaker imaging, making it a mixed but generally positive recommendation for gaming.
