REVIEW: The SoundPEATS Air5 are the best-sounding half-in-ear wireless earbuds from the brand. Test vs Air3 Deluxe HS, Apple's AirPods 4 and more.

14:00The reviewer finds the SoundPEATS Air5 to be a solid budget alternative to Apple's AirPods 4 with ANC, offering good battery life and clear mids/treble, but notes that the semi-open design limits bass impact and that the noise cancelling is largely ineffective. They recommend it for media consumption rather than critical music listening, and mention that the sound requires some EQ tweaking to get the best results.
5:00The reviewer finds the SoundPEATS Air5 earbuds acceptable but not outstanding, citing three main drawbacks: a sluggish app lacking battery percentage, insufficient clean bass for hip-hop despite EQ adjustments, and hybrid ANC that only reduces subtle ambient noises rather than blocking voices or TVs. However, they praise the earbuds' comfort, lightweight design, and excellent call quality for meetings, concluding they are a decent budget option with room for improvement via app updates.
9:21The reviewer tested the SoundPEATS Air5 for three weeks and found them to be a light, comfortable tipless earbud with decent sound quality for the price, but the ANC is weak, battery life with ANC is short, and there are few upgrades over the Air4, making them hard to recommend as an upgrade.
