The reviewer compares the Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed and HyperX Cloud III Wireless at the same $130 price point, strongly favoring the Razer for its superior microphone, Bluetooth capability, lighter weight, and on-headset EQ presets, despite some caveats like a non-detachable mic, no mute indicator, and occasional Bluetooth glitches. The HyperX is praised for better side tone and a more robust build, but the Razer offers more overall value.

The reviewer finds the Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed to be a solid, budget-friendly wireless gaming headset with good sound quality, comfort, and a decent microphone for the price. They note some drawbacks like a non-detachable mic and a slightly flimsy plastic build, but overall recommend it for price-conscious gamers.

The reviewer bought the Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed to replace an aging Logitech G933 for PS5 use. They found the headset's sound quality and microphone performance to be excellent, especially for the price, and recommend it overall despite some design quirks like the adapter requiring a cable and the lack of a flip-to-mute mic. The reviewer concludes it's a good value and doesn't feel the need to upgrade to the more expensive Pro model.
