Moondrop PILL

The reviewer finds the Moondrop Pill clip-on earbuds to be an excellent value at $50, praising their strong sound quality, extensive app-based customization, and solid Bluetooth 6.0 performance. They note the design has some drawbacks, like a bulky case and lack of volume controls, but overall highly recommend them for audiophiles seeking this style.

The reviewer covers three Moondrop TWS products, including the Pill, and highlights their shared parametric EQ feature as a standout that rivals major brands. He finds the Pill's open-ear design comfortable and its case pocketable, though he notes it can be fiddly to put on and has a confusing left/right marking. Overall, he seems positive about the Pill's unique form factor and sound customization, but points out usability quirks.

The reviewer compares the Moondrop PILL and Earfun Clip open earclip TWS earbuds, finding both to be excellent budget options that finally deliver good sound quality in this form factor. The PILL is praised for its unique design, spacious soundstage, and detailed audio, while the Earfun Clip offers louder volume, more bass, and better battery life. The reviewer concludes that the PILL is a solid choice for those prioritizing sound quality and aesthetics, though it requires precise fit and has a shorter battery life.

The reviewer finds the Moondrop Pill to be a solid first clip-on earbud from the brand, with excellent comfort, fit, and sound quality, especially when using the official EQ preset. However, it falls short in key areas like lacking volume controls, having poor call quality in windy conditions, and a low maximum volume, which prevents it from being a top recommendation in its category.

The reviewer was pleasantly surprised by the Moondrop Pill's audio quality, which exceeded his low expectations for an open-style earbud. He found the sound warm, smooth, and clear with good bass and minimal distortion, though the maximum volume is limited. He recommends it for those seeking a budget-friendly, open earbud for workouts or situational awareness, but notes it's not for audiophiles seeking top-tier fidelity.

The reviewer finds the Moondrop Pill open-ear earbuds surprisingly comfortable and practical for all-day wear, with a secure fit that doesn't interfere with earrings. They praise the sound quality as much better than expected for the price, with decent lows and clear separation, though not for critical listening. The reviewer recommends them for casual use like chores or walks, noting the app EQ is optional and the controls are well-designed, but wishes for volume control on the buds.
