KZ Carol

The reviewer praises the KZ Carol earbuds for their transparent design, strong active noise cancellation, and detailed sound quality, highlighting features like 42-hour battery life, low latency mode, and dual device connectivity. They conclude that these earbuds offer professional-grade performance at an accessible price, making them a compelling choice for audiophiles, gamers, and general users.

The reviewer finds the KZ Carol to be a budget-friendly wireless ANC earbud with impressive sound quality and a striking fully transparent design, but is let down by a flimsy, easily scratched case and some control quirks. Despite these issues, the overall performance, especially the ANC and volume, makes it a recommended product for its price.

The reviewer compares the KZ Carol Pro to the original Carol, noting the Pro adds LDAC support and a new charging case with a green LED logo. The sound signature is very similar, with a slight treble reduction and a bit more bass presence, making it a refined version of the original. The reviewer recommends the Pro for Android users who can benefit from LDAC, while noting it's not a major upgrade for Apple users.

The reviewer finds the KZ Carol to be a solid budget option, offering strong ANC and a fun, bass-heavy sound for under £25. However, it has notable drawbacks including a bulky fit, poor call quality in noisy environments, lack of app support, and high gaming latency. Overall, it is recommended as the best ANC earbuds under £25, but with caveats about fit and features.

The reviewer finds the KZ Carol wireless earbuds to be a solid budget option at $36, with a fun, bass-heavy, V-shaped sound signature that is very tolerable and casual. They praise the well-matched left and right channels and the attractive transparent design, while noting average resolution and a recessed midrange. Overall, they recommend it for general use, especially for bass-heavy genres like EDM and techno.
