Reviewers largely agree that the JBL Live Beam 3 offers a unique smart charging case with a touchscreen display, good sound quality, and strong battery life, making it a feature-rich option at its price.
5:20The reviewer finds the JBL Live Beam 3 earbuds feature-packed with a unique smart case, strong battery life, and crowd-pleasing sound, but notes the fit may be problematic for some due to the short nozzle, and ANC is decent but not class-leading. Overall, they are a great value for most people, though the reviewer personally couldn't get a good fit.
7:21The reviewer found the JBL Live Beam 3 earbuds to be excellent, highlighting the unique smart charging case with a touchscreen display as a genuinely useful feature for quick controls. They praised the sound quality, microphone performance, and adaptive noise cancellation, concluding that even without the display, these would be a great pair of premium earbuds, and they are definitely worth considering.
11:19The reviewer had a largely negative experience with the JBL Live Beam 3, citing severe battery drain when the case is in a pocket, a bizarre sonar-like alarm at low battery, and a bulky, redundant touchscreen case. While the sound quality is decent for the price, the reviewer considers the earbuds not worth their $200 retail price and recommends alternatives like the JBL Tour Pro 2.
15:37The reviewer, after nine months of use, finds the JBL Live Beam 3 to be a well-built and comfortable pair of earbuds with strong active noise cancellation, good call quality, and a feature-rich app. He appreciates the long battery life and the honest warning about high-resolution audio trade-offs, but dislikes the fingerprint-prone glossy finish on the earbuds and the limited gesture control customization. Overall, he considers it a premium product that performs well for music and calls.
7:33The reviewer compares the JBL Live Beam 3 and Live Flex 3, concluding both are excellent but suited to different priorities. The Beam 3 is recommended for its balanced sound, smart case with display, and stem design, while the Flex 3 is favored for deeper bass, slightly stronger noise cancellation, and longer battery life. The final choice depends on whether the user values convenience and design or bass and endurance.
