Beyerdynamic DT 880 32

SoundGale's review is positive overall, highlighting good build quality, comfort, and the availability of multiple impedance versions. It also notes drawbacks such as the non-detachable cable on the DT 880 Pro and gives the model an 8.4/10 score.

Stereophile found the 32-ohm DT 880 able to reach acceptable volume from portable gear, but felt the sound quality dropped enough that the value was poor. The reviewer specifically did not recommend it for portable use, especially because its semi-open design also provides little isolation.

What Hi-Fi praised the DT 880 for comfort, strong all-round sound quality, detailed treble, textured mids, and entertaining dynamics. The main criticism was that the headphone could use more attack and excitement compared with the very best rivals at the price.
