6:42The reviewer praises the AKG K 550 for its solid aluminum build, extremely comfortable ear pads, and flat sound signature with a bit more bass than the K 271, making it a great choice for music and recording. They believe it's a good option at its price point, though they note the non-detachable cable and potential ear fatigue for large ears after long sessions.

6:36The reviewer finds the AKG K271 MKII to be an excellent value at $140, praising its neutral sound signature, comfort, and build quality. He notes that while the plastic construction feels light, it is durable and well-made, and the headphones are ideal for those who prefer a flat, uncolored sound for music and video editing. He recommends alternatives with more bass for those who prefer that, but overall he is completely satisfied with his purchase.
