The reviewer considers the HyperX Cloud III a new benchmark for $100 gaming headsets, praising its solid build, comfortable fit for the first few hours, and excellent sound quality with good detail and separation. They note the DTS:X spatial sound is poor and recommend using the stock audio, while also mentioning that long sessions can cause pressure points. Overall, they highly recommend it for all types of gamers.

Hyper X Cloud Alpha S Gaming Headset Review | Don't Sleep On This!

  3,2 k vuesaoût 2022

The reviewer finds the HyperX Cloud Alpha S to be a well-built, premium-feeling gaming headset that excels in sound quality, particularly with a wide soundstage and excellent directional audio for competitive play. However, comfort can be finicky with the pleather ear cups, the 7.1 surround sound is poor, and the cable is unwieldy. Overall, it's considered a great buy at its current discounted price.
