Hifiman HE1000 Stealth Magnet Review | End Game for Less than $2000?

  14,9 k vuesjuin 2023

The reviewer finds the HiFiMAN HE1000 Stealth Magnet to be a highly enjoyable and technically capable headphone, offering a large, immersive soundstage and detailed presentation that justifies its price, though it has a slightly bright treble and a soft, diffuse bass that may not suit all preferences. It is considered a strong value compared to its original price and outperforms cheaper HiFiMAN siblings, but requires a good amplifier to sound its best.

  Focal Spirit Classic Long-term Review

  739 vuesjuil. 2020

The reviewer, who has owned the Focal Spirit Classic for over three years, finds it a good-sounding, neutral-warm headphone with strong bass and clear treble, but notes significant concerns about build quality (reported headband cracking) and small ear pads that may be uncomfortable for larger ears. At its current street price of $200-250, it's a bargain sonically, but the durability issues and fit make it a cautious recommendation.
