The reviewer spent two weeks with the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay Portal and found it to be a luxurious, comfortable, and stylish headset with excellent music sound quality, but it falls short as a gaming headset. The microphone picks up excessive background noise, battery life is short for gaming, active noise cancellation is underwhelming, and the software lacks gaming-focused features. At $500, the reviewer believes it doesn't justify its price compared to cheaper gaming headsets with similar or better performance.
