REVIEW: The Soundcore Liberty Buds are AirPods 4 ANC competitors at half the price, with good Noise Cancellation. Includes test vs Huawei Freebuds 6.

Reviewers largely agree that the Soundcore Liberty Buds excel in comfort and secure fit thanks to their semi-in-ear design with stabilizing fins, while delivering surprisingly strong sound and effective adaptive ANC for a tipless form factor.
15:41The reviewer is highly impressed with the Soundcore Liberty Buds, calling them a potential new favorite due to their comfortable semi-in-ear design with innovative fins that keep them secure, excellent sound quality, effective ANC, and useful app features like spatial audio and translation. The main highlight is solving the common problem of semi-in-ear earbuds falling out, while maintaining comfort and delivering strong performance across the board.
8:12The reviewer was impressed by the Soundcore Liberty Buds, finding that they deliver surprisingly strong bass, effective ANC, and a wide soundstage for a semi-in-ear design. They highlight excellent comfort, solid battery life, and a robust feature set, concluding these are among the best semi-in-ear earbuds they've tested this year, though they note the default EQ needs adjustment and ANC isn't as strong as in-ear models.
8:32The reviewer is highly impressed with the Soundcore Liberty Buds, praising their comfortable semi-in-ear design, effective active noise cancelling, and extensive customization options via the app. He considers them an exceptional value at $99.99, especially with the launch discount, and recommends them strongly for their feature set and performance.
11:07The reviewer finds the Soundcore Liberty Buds to be a mixed bag, praising their comfortable semi-in-ear design with stabilizing fins, effective adaptive ANC for the form factor, and a wealth of features like AI translation and customizable controls. However, he criticizes the mediocre battery life, lack of wireless charging, and a significant shift in sound character when ANC is enabled, which makes them better suited for casual or office use rather than as all-rounders.
10:11The reviewer finds the Soundcore Liberty Buds to be a compelling budget alternative to the Apple AirPods 4 ANC, praising their comfortable semi-in-ear design, effective adaptive ANC, and customizable sound. They note the earbuds are great for long listening sessions and offer good value, especially with a discount code, though they caution against using them for intense sports and note that ANC off reduces bass.
11:26The reviewer finds the Soundcore Liberty Buds to be a solid choice for those who dislike in-ear tips, praising their all-day comfort, secure fit, and good sound quality. They note that the ANC is better than expected but not very effective due to the semi-open design, and the build quality feels a bit cheap. Overall, they recommend them as a cheaper alternative to AirPods, especially if you can catch a sale.
