Reviewers largely agree that the Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 delivers excellent, versatile sound quality with a wide soundstage and detail, alongside class-leading battery life and user-replaceable parts, making it a strong value for audiophiles.
9:52The reviewer finds the Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 headphones to be an excellent choice for audio quality, with a well-tuned, versatile sound that competes with top-tier wireless ANC headphones. However, the noise cancelling is slightly below the level of Sony and Bose, and the fabric headband material is a minor concern. Overall, the reviewer recommends them for those prioritizing sound over absolute noise cancellation, praising the battery life, replaceable parts, and app support.
14:24The reviewer finds the Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 to be an exceptional value, offering sound quality that rivals much more expensive high-end headphones, though it has notable weaknesses in noise cancelling and comfort. The P100 excels in soundstage, detail, and EQ flexibility, making it a top pick for audiophiles on a budget, but its heavy weight, minimal headband padding, and subpar noise cancelling are significant drawbacks.
11:42The reviewer finds the Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 to be a strong competitor to Sony and Bose models, offering excellent sound quality with a balanced signature, powerful ANC, and impressive battery life. While it is heavier than rivals, the build quality and user-replaceable parts add value, making it a compelling choice at its price point.
17:38The reviewer finds the Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 to be a solid first wireless ANC headphone from the brand, with impressive sound quality that matches its hi-fi heritage, good connectivity options, and effective call quality. However, it has some drawbacks like lack of LDAC support, a slightly recessed midrange, and the need to be powered on for wired use, making it a competitive but not perfect option at its price.
23:04The reviewer finds the Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 to be a well-designed and comfortable pair of over-ear headphones with excellent sound quality, impressive battery life, and effective noise cancellation. They particularly appreciate the transparency mode for outdoor use and the USB-C connectivity for calls, though they note some minor issues with fit during physical activity and a preference for using their phone over onboard controls. Overall, they consider it a strong first effort from Cambridge Audio in the over-ear market.
