The reviewer finds the Audio-Technica M40x to be an outstanding budget headphone, praising its flat, natural sound signature and considering it superior to the more popular M50x for his tastes. He notes that while the build quality and comfort are lacking, the excellent audio performance more than compensates, making it a strong recommendation for those who prefer a neutral sound.

  Audio Technica: ATH R70X Review

  21,8 mil visualizacionesoct 2018

The reviewer finds the ATH-R70x to be an exceptional pair of open-back reference headphones, offering outstanding comfort, a nearly flat frequency response ideal for editing and critical listening, and a wide soundstage. They note the high impedance requires a powerful amp, and the open-back design causes sound leakage, but overall they highly recommend them for home or studio use despite the steep price.
