The Moondrop Quarks is a closed front cavity in-ear earphone with a specialized 6mm micro dynamic driver, offering a frequency response of 4-43kHz and a sensitivity of 116dB/Vrms. It features a patented anti-blocking sound damping structure to reduce imbalance and high-frequency ringing.

Reviewers agree the Moondrop Quarks offer a smooth, mid-range-focused sound with a comfortable, lightweight fit at an exceptional budget price, making them a strong value for vocal lovers.
9:35The reviewer compares the Moondrop Quarks and Chu, finding both to be excellent budget IEMs. He notes the Quarks have a more comfortable fit and a smoother, more mid-range-focused sound, while the Chu offers better resolution, treble, and bass. He concludes that the Quarks are a great choice for mid-range lovers, especially at their low price, and are even suitable as disposable workout earphones.
56:15The reviewer finds the Moondrop Quarks to be a unique budget earphone with a mid-range-focused tuning, which is rare at this price point. While the sound is competent and the physical design is compact and comfortable, the overall presentation is somewhat boring and lacks standout qualities. The lack of a chin cinch and the inability to differentiate left and right by feel are noted drawbacks.
12:41The reviewer finds the Moondrop Quarks to be an exceptional value at $12.99, offering a smooth, relaxing, and well-tuned sound with forward female vocals and a natural timbre. While it lacks bass impact, treble energy, and micro-details compared to pricier IEMs, its overall musicality and comfort make it a highly recommended budget pick, even beating some more expensive competitors in vocal performance.
2:34The reviewer finds the Moondrop Quarks to be a decent budget bullet-style IEM with a neutral sound and a notable upper-mids peak that makes some vocals shouty. While the shell design is liked, the cable is considered mediocre, and the reviewer concludes that competitors like the Tanchjim Tanya and Sony MH755 offer better value, so they wouldn't personally recommend the Quarks.
7:50The reviewer finds the Moondrop Quarks to be an excellent ultra-budget earphone with a neutral, natural sound signature that closely resembles the pricier Moondrop SSR. While the bass is light and lacks sub-bass rumble, the mid-range is articulate and natural, and the treble is smooth without harshness. Overall, it's highly recommended for budget-conscious listeners seeking a reference-like tuning.
