Reviewers agree the KZ Castor offers exceptional value, with a solid metal build and customizable sound via hardware tuning switches that set it apart at its price point.
2:07The reviewer finds the KZ Castor to be a budget-friendly IEM with a unique hardware tuning feature that allows users to adjust the frequency response. They were pleasantly surprised by the sound quality, noting a smooth and balanced presentation that lacks the typical KZ sharpness, though the fit may be deeper than some prefer. Overall, they consider it an excellent value with no comparable alternatives at this price point.
5:43The reviewer is highly impressed with the KZ Castor Harman Target Bass Edition, praising its unique dual-driver design and mechanical tuning switches. They describe the sound as exceptional, with clear separation and impactful bass, and believe it outperforms many more expensive earphones, making it a fantastic value at its price point.
7:55The reviewer compares four budget KZ IEMs, concluding that the KZ Castor offers the best sound quality and build, though it is larger and heavier. The KZ Saga is recommended for comfort and fit, while the EDX Pro and Libra are decent budget options with less impressive performance. Overall, the Castor is praised as the top pick for sound, exceeding its price point.
5:53The reviewer is impressed with the KZ Castor BASS, praising its build quality and sound for the price, especially when on sale for around $20 Canadian. They find the bass response and treble surprisingly good, and consider it an easy recommendation and a potential blind buy at that price, even preferring it over the Truthear Zero.
8:43The reviewer demonstrates how to set up and use the KZ Castor IEMs, highlighting their excellent sound quality, solid metal build, and tunable switches. They consider these earphones an outstanding bargain, especially at the discounted price they found, and praise the surprisingly good microphone for the price. The overall verdict is highly positive, with the reviewer calling them phenomenal and unbeatable for the cost.
