Reviewers largely agree that the HyperX Cloud Flight 2 offers exceptional battery life (around 100 hours with RGB off), a comfortable fit, and solid sound quality for gaming, making it a strong mid-range value.
15:31The reviewer, a fan of the original Cloud Flights, finds the Cloud Flight 2 a comfortable and feature-rich headset with excellent battery life and a good microphone, but criticizes its plastic build quality, which shows stress marks during testing, and the lack of simultaneous 2.4GHz and Bluetooth use. Overall, it's a solid but not perfect update.
17:43The reviewer compares the HyperX Cloud Flight 2 and Cloud III S Wireless, finding the Cloud III S superior in sound quality, especially for FPS gaming, with better imaging and a more neutral, detailed tuning. The Cloud Flight 2 is praised for its immersive, bass-heavy sound for single-player games and its comfortable, well-built plastic design, but it has a less precise volume wheel and slightly less comfortable ear pads. Overall, the Cloud III S is recommended for FPS players, while the Cloud Flight 2 suits those who prefer a more immersive, bass-forward experience.
4:46The reviewer purchased the HyperX Cloud Flight 2 and found it to be an excellent mid-range gaming headset, praising its comfortable build, impressive sound quality for both music and gaming, and long battery life. Despite minor drawbacks like the lack of a 3.5mm jack and occasional power button issues, they consider it a great value at $130, outperforming more expensive competitors in many ways.
7:15The reviewer finds the HyperX Cloud Flight 2 to be a comfortable, well-built wireless gaming headset with excellent battery life when the RGB lighting is off, and a decent microphone for gaming and calls. While the audio is good for gaming, it lacks the deep bass desired for music, and the reviewer recommends it as a solid budget option despite not being top-tier.
9:57The reviewer has used the HyperX Cloud Flight 2 for about 5 months and 300 hours of gaming, finding the battery life exceptional at around 100 hours with RGB off. They praise the sound quality, comfort, and software customization, and note that it has replaced their previous SteelSeries headset. Overall, they strongly recommend it for its price and features, though they suggest upgrading the ear cushions.
