11:48The reviewer praises both the Focal Spirit Professional and Spirit Classic as excellent sealed headphones. The Professional is highlighted for its outstanding tonal neutrality, making it ideal for recording engineers, while the Classic offers a more relaxed, coherent sound for home and office use. Both are noted for their dynamic, punchy sound and good isolation, though comfort issues with ear pad size and clamp pressure are mentioned.
6:48The reviewer highly praises the Focal Spirit Professional as the best-sounding closed-back headphones they have heard, with an exceptionally neutral and transparent sound across all frequencies. They highlight its superb build quality, comfort, and studio-ready performance, calling it an incredible value even at its $349.99 MSRP.
13:31The reviewer compares the Focal Spirit Professional to the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro, finding the Focal headphones offer a thicker, more homogeneous sound with excellent detail and punchy lows, while the DT 770s sound thinner and more separated. The Focal headphones are praised for their comfort and strong isolation, and the reviewer is very satisfied with the purchase, though the difference between the two is not as large as expected.
2:14The reviewer finds the Focal Spirit Professional headphones to be an excellent choice for reference listening, praising their neutral sound, comfort, and build quality. They note the design doesn't sit flush on the head but consider it a minor issue, and recommend them for both studio work and gaming, especially at the used price.
