The Focal Spirit Classic is a full-size, closed-back headphone designed for home and studio use, featuring a classy brown finish and comfortable protein leather earpads. It offers good passive isolation and a balanced sound, though its plastic build and small earcups may be a concern for some users.

11:48The reviewer praises both the Focal Spirit Professional and Spirit Classic as excellent sealed headphones, highlighting their neutral and dynamic sound. The Spirit Professional is noted for its exceptional tonal neutrality, ideal for studio work, while the Spirit Classic offers a more relaxed, coherent sound for home and office use. Comfort issues like small ear pad openings and high clamping force are mentioned, but the overall verdict is highly positive.
8:48The reviewer had limited time with the Focal Spirit Classic but found it to be a more comfortable and refined headphone than the Spirit One, with added mid-range richness and detail. It is positioned as a home/desktop flagship, and the reviewer prefers it to the Spirit One, considering it a solid new flagship for Focal.
6:56The reviewer finds the Focal Spirit Classic to be a decent-sounding closed-back headphone with a V-shaped signature, but considers it grossly overpriced at $330. He criticizes the plastic build, lack of foldability, and poor soundstage, and recommends the cheaper 1More Triple Driver as a superior alternative with better clarity, imaging, and comfort.
9:24The reviewer, who has owned the Focal Spirit Classic for over three years, finds it a good-sounding, neutral-warm headphone with strong bass and clear treble, but notes significant concerns about build quality (reported headband cracking) and small ear pads that may be uncomfortable for larger ears. At its current street price of $200-250, it's a bargain sonically, but the durability issues and fit make it a cautious recommendation.
